St Mary Magdalen Silver Road

St Mary Magdalen was built in the early 20th century. Despte its relative modernity it contains glass dating from the 15th century. Such treasures, mostly Flemmish in origin, were moved here after the medieval church of St James Pockthorpe was converted into a puppet theatre. In 1997 the glass was reportedly in store, but was subsequently installed (probably) by the local firm G. King & Son.
